Not immediately! You can view up to 50 camera images per day without signing in. This gives you a chance to explore the platform and see cameras along your route. After using your 50 daily previews, you'll need to sign in for continued access to camera feeds, enlarged images, and additional features.

How often are camera images updated?

Camera images are updated in real-time, typically every 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on the camera source. The refresh rate varies by location and camera provider.

Can I use Vancam on mobile devices?

Yes! Vancam is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices. You can access all features including route planning and camera viewing on smartphones and tablets.

What areas are covered by traffic cameras?

Our platform covers major highways, city streets, and key transportation corridors across North America. Camera coverage is continuously expanding as new feeds become available.

How do I clear a route I've created?

Click the "Clear Route" button that appears above the map when a route is active, or use the clear button in the route cameras modal. This will remove the route and return to normal camera browsing mode.

Can I share camera views with others?

Yes! Each camera has a "Share" button that creates a unique link. You can send this link to others to show them the specific camera location and current conditions.

What happens when I reach my 50 daily preview limit?

Once you've viewed 50 camera images in a day, you'll see a message prompting you to sign in for continued access. Your preview count resets automatically each day at midnight local time. Signed-in users have unlimited access to all camera feeds.

How can I check how many previews I have left?

When you're not signed in, a small counter appears at the top of each camera popup showing "Free previews remaining: X/50". This helps you keep track of your daily usage.

🔄 Map not loading?

Try refreshing the page, check your internet connection, or try a different browser. Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings.

📷 Camera images not showing?

Check if you've reached your 50 daily preview limit (a counter shows your remaining previews). If so, sign in for unlimited access. Some cameras may also be temporarily offline or under maintenance.

🧭 Route planning not working?

Ensure you've entered valid addresses in both the origin and destination fields. Try using more specific location names or postal codes.

📱 Mobile performance issues?

Close other browser tabs, ensure you have a stable internet connection, and try zooming out if the map feels slow with many cameras visible.
